To license your dog in Columbia County, either:

• Come in person to the Treasurer's office at 11 West Main Street, Bloomsburg
  
• Print out the Dog License Application available here, fill it out, and place it and a check made out to "Columbia County Treasurer" for the correct amount in an envelope with first class postage, and mail to:

  Your license will be sent by return mail.
• Purchase your dog license online; There will be an additional $2.00 fee (or 3%, if total is $40 or more) charged by our credit card processor.

2026 DOG LICENSE PRICING HAS BEEN UPDATED FOR YEARLY AND LIFETIME, WHICH WILL GO INTO EFFECT AND BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE STARTING DECEMBER 1st, 2025.

ANNUAL DOG LICENSE FEE

Regular Fee: $10.80

Disability/Senior Citizen (age 64 or older) Fee: $8.80

LIFETIME DOG LICENSE FEE

Regular Fee: $52.80

Disability/Senior Citizen (age 64 or older) Fee: $36.80

NOTE: Lifetime License requires the dog to be microchipped or tattooed. Tattoo number must come from the Treasurer's Office.

Purchase dog licenses online through our system, starting December 1 for each new year.
